I Was Criticized For My “Take Away” Song — Highlife Singer Akah Blay

Ghanaian highlife artiste,  Akah Blay has disclosed that a lot of people criticized him after he dropped his 2017 hit track titled, “Take Away”.
In an interview on Zylofon FM’s popular celebrity show, Showbiz Agenda’s “Judgement Board” with the host Sammy Flex, Akah Blay mentioned that many people did not believe that a grown-up person like him could sing such a controversial song.

“Some people walked up to me and asked why a matured man like myself could release such a song”, he recalled.
He added that even though his song was criticised by many but he also had patronage from both within and outside Ghana.

“I had no hope in my song’ Take Away. I thought it wouldn’t be a hit because it was one song that I’ve been singing myself for so long even before it was dropped,” he told Sammy Flex.
