Frema Ashkar has made her next career move after dumping Metro TV, pitching tent with the now up and coming Citi TV.
Ashkar joins the Omni Media Limited owned station following her three year stint with Metro TV.
She left Metro a few days after the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) closed down the station over a significant backlog of unpaid taxes.
Ashkar join Citi to anchor the burgeoning channel’s prime news program, and starts work on Monday, July 9th.
Before joining Metro TV, Frema worked at TV3 and ETV and also has experience as a radio host.
She’s the longtime manager and some say love interest of highlife star Kwabena Kwabena.
