Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, has lambasted Anas as a trickster who traps people in his videos.
Bempah, a well known advocate of the ruling NPP and unsurprisingly towing the Kennedy Agyapong line, claims Nyantakyi and most of those in the video did no wrong since they did not ask for money from Anas.
The Anas video, despite appearing to show incontrovertible evidence of corruption, has been keenly contested, particularly from factions of the ruling party.
Kwesi Nyantakyi in the video claimed that the President, his vice and other govt officials could all be bought with certain sums of money.

Commenting on the video for the first time, Bempah said Anas is a trickster who goes out attempting to force people to commit crimes.
Bempah argued that in the video none of the people asked for money but instead Anas forced it on them and they cannot be said to have done anything wrong in that instance.
He said in any case, if Nyantakyi has done wrong then so has Anas for offering the bribe.
Bempah added that the only part Nyantakyi erred was dragging the President’s name into the issue.
