A Ghanaian lady identified as one Jenas Nyarko has died after being shot during a funeral service held in Toronto, Canada.
Nyarko, 31, sustained fatal injuries in the shooting and later died at the Toronto Trauma Centre.
The incident reportedly occurred Saturday in a close knit community near Toronto’s Replin Avenue.
The funeral service was for a Ghanaian lady who died down here but was flown to Canada for her final rites.
Jenas Nyarko reportedly parked her car alongside three others in the area when a silver SUV drove by and opened fire on them.

“It would appear that this is a case of individuals coming from one neighborhood in the city to another neighborhood and shooting the first residents they see,” Detective Dave Dickinson of the Homicide Unit of Toronto PD said.
Jenas has been living in Canada since 2001 and apparently worked at a shelter in her area.
May she rest in peace.
