Ghana 2-0 Japan — Black Stars Sink Blue Samurai In International Friendly

The Black Stars of Ghana beat the Blue Samurai of Japan by a comfortable two goal margin in a pre world cup friendly played in Tokyo earlier today (Wednesday).
Captain of the day Thomas Teye Partey scored first for the Stars, thumping in a free kick, before Levante forward and Barca killer Emmanuel Boateng sealed the 2-0 victory.
The game served as a pre-World Cup test for Japan as they prepare for the upcoming mundial where they are set to play Senegal in Group H.
A depleted Black Stars team had little trouble dealing with Japan, with Partey scoring the first goal as early as the 9th minute.
Boateng followed in the second half, scoring from the spot after being brought down by the Japanese goalie.
Kwesi Appiah and his charges play Iceland in a second friendly on June 7th.
