Born Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah and widely known as Akwaboah has revealed that he was born to do secular music according to his pastor.
The Highlife musician stated that doing secular music was actually a prophecy from his pastor.

Akwaboah speaking to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak show on his recently released album, ‘Matters of the Heart’ disclosed that:

“The thing is that my pastor believes in everyone’s destiny; we all can’t be pastors; we all can’t be bankers. Initially, I wanted to do gospel songs so I did a gospel album but I also recorded a secular album so I was confused as to which side I should stand for.

“My pastor was prophesying… and he called me and told me that my calling was to do secular music,” Akwaboah concluded.
