Ghanaian popular actor-turned Pastor, Majid Michel has said the youth abusing tramadol just to boost their daily activities is because they have lost their self-identity.
The actor stated on Joy News when he was given a chance to speak in an interview about the abuse of tramadol killing and destroying Ghanaian youth.
He explained that people who abuse the drug just to boost their sexual performance and their hard-working ability, instead of using it for its purpose, do so because they have lost their self-esteem.
Pastor Majid, therefore urged Ghanaians that the very best way to stop this is to tackle it from the source.
“I think we have to tackle it from the root. I think most of the youth have lost their sense of identity that is who they are. So they believe if they go to take a drug, it gave them the confidence to do certain things they were not able to do when they are normal and it’s an addiction.”

“It is also an appetite so when they become normal [or] sober, they realize the appetite comes back,” he added.
