Nigerian artist with strong Ghanaian roots, Mr Eazi, has brushed off the VGMAs as an illegitimate awards scheme and bragged that with his net worth he doesn’t even need it.
Mr Eazi, speaking with Delay, said he believes he’s worth over one million dollars.
According to the singer, real name Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, his songs all do very well in digital stores therefore he rakes in revenues other artists can only dream of.
Mr Eazi expressed contempt at the VGMAs and said “Charterhouse is full of jokers,”.
“How can you conclude that I am not a big artiste when I organized the biggest event (Life is Eazi Detty Rave concert) same year you nominated me for ‘Best African Artiste of the Year‘ category at the VGMA?” he wondered.
