Ghanaian actress, Vicky Zugah who has been physically abused than any Ghanaian actress says she is highly disappointed in the organizers of the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for ignoring the living and awarding the dead.
According to Vicky Zugah, the late Ebony Reigns performed marvellously under the year review but rewarding her with awards at the 2018 VGMA was absolutely unnecessary.
Vicky Zugah in an interview on SVTV indicated that it would have been better if those awards went to the likes of Patapaa and other artistes who are living.

On the questioned of whether Ebony deserved the ‘Artiste of the Year’ award, she said, “If she was alive I would have agreed, I don’t think we should celebrate the dead more than the living.
She is dead and gone, She was very good and talented but once she is dead, she is dead.
“The main purpose of awards is to encourage people to do better, so I don’t see the need of awarding the dead,” Vicky Zugah concluded.
