The mortuary man at the centre of a storm surrounding Ebony’s corpse has come out publicly for the first time since the incident to tell his side of the story.
As you’ll recall a video which was leaked on social media in the wake of the singer’s death showed this mortuary man fondling the bodies of both Ebony and Franky Kuri as he was recorded.
His actions came under intense criticism from Ghanaians and the only defence we heard at the time was that he was asked to take the video by the police, although that was never corroborated.
He has now come out to defend himself in an interview with Joy News. According to him, he was only doing his job and not fondling the bodies as Ghanaians are claiming.
“It’s never true that I fondled Ebony and it will never be true till Christ comes. I am a grown up person and will never do such a thing.” he said.
“I was only pointing the injury part as I was being commanded to do and there was no way I would make fun of Ebony and her friend. Ebony was a star and I respect her a lot.” he added.
