The GIRL TALK team led by songstress Efya and Yvonne Nelson surprised the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo on her birthday at the President’s residence.
The team presented her with a bespoke cake from Oriental Cakes, boxes of Vitamilk and Gustav liqueur from Gentle Giants.
The First Lady was blown away when she was presented with a beautiful painting of herself.
As part of the birthday package, the team will also deliver an incubator to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi to support the First Lady’s ‘Save a Child, Save a Mother’ campaign.

Efya sang a happy birthday song for the First Lady and also told her of how much an inspiration she is to the teeming youth especially women of the country.
Mrs. Akufo Addo was very delighted and expressed her profound appreciation to Girl Talk for the birthday gesture. She promised to visit the team during one of their Birthday Hangouts.
