‘Dancehall king’ Shatta Wale blew his competition out of the water to be adjudged the most influential Ghanaian on social media.
Wale finished ahead of Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sarkodie, who came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Ghana Social Media Ranking was compiled taking into account the total followership of a public figure, as well as their growth difference, engagements, post reach and mentions, all through calendar year 2017.
After all the numbers were crunched, Wale finished miles ahead of his closest competitor, former Black Stars midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Sarkodie finished third, followed by John Dumelo and his bestie, Yvonne Nelson.
The annual Ghana Social Media Ranking is compiled by Avance Media in partnership with CliQAfrica, eazzysocial and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH.
