I Groomed Shatta Wale, Baffour And Asamoah Gyan — Maame Dokono

Ghanaian veteran actress, Grace Omaboe affectionately called Maame Dokono has disclosed that she groomed Ghanaian celebrities such as Shatta Wale, Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan and his brother Baffour Gyan.
According to Maame Dokono, she nurtured all the above-mentioned stars through her show, ‘By The Fire Side’.

Maame Dokono on Mikki Osei-Berko’s After Hours Show’ on TV3 revealed that dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was the gong-gong beater in the play on ‘By The Fireside’ show.

Maame Dokono said:
“Shatta Wale was a gong-gong beater in By the Fireside…he’s one of the numerous persons I have helped.”
Maame Dokono concluded that she always made sure Asamoah Gyan and his brother Baffour Gyan showed up on the show which was sponsored by the 31st December Women’s Movement established in the 90’s.
