CEO of Zylofon Media Nana Appiah Mensah went on air on his radio station Zylofon FM earlier today to clear the air about his tweet over the weekend which sparked such a massive furore.
Appiah Mensah’s appearance was to clear the air, correct the record about his tweet and the meanings people were reading into them.
His tweet which sparked the entire furore claimed that Ebony met him before she died and was set to sign for his label. The controversial part was a quote he added, supposedly from Ebony, that she wanted to be ‘freed’ from him (Bullet).
Upon immense criticism, he tried to clarify in this morning’s interview.

According to him, he met with Ebony and its only normal that they pay a bailout to her old management if she was moving.
Nana Appiah Mensah said Zylofon Media were prepared to pay RuffTown Records $100,000 to make Ebony make the move to Zylofon. He also said the deal could never have been completed without RuffTown’s input and that they would have brought them into subsequent meetings.
