"I Hope They're Happy" — Sonnie Badu Hits Out At Critics Of Ebony Following Her Passing

Many Ghanaians are in pain and shock today as we try to process the unbelievable news that the young, vibrant and extremely talented Ebony Reigns has passed away.
At only 20 years of age, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng died late Thursday whilst returning from visiting family in Sunyani.
Ebony was constantly criticized by Ghanaians whilst alive for her style of dressing and erotic videos but one person who stood for her was Sonnie Badu.
Following news of her passing, a pained Sonnie Badu wrote on social media that he hopes Ebony’s critics are happy now that she’s gone.
“Rest well ebony , I hope they are happy now !!” he tweeted.

Obviously many Ghanaians criticized Ebony but it’s kind of over the top to suggest people wanted her dead.
A twitter user pointed it out to Badu, who responded: “My dear brother in our Akan language there is a saying that goes asem asa .. I feel we were hard on her hence her rebellious attitude.. a great talent is gone ..”
