Jackie Appiah undoubtedly is widely known in Africa judging from the video captured during the ceremony. The fans who were not familiar with her real name kept calling “Ciara”, a name she once used in a movie a few years ago.
Jackie Appiah in her career has won numerous prestigious awards and nominations such as Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards and Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2007.
