Even Goats Have Accents — Juliet Ibrahim 'Jabs' Actors/Actresses With Fake Accents

One of the clear and present dangers to Ghanaian culture is the wholesale adoption of fake a$$ accents by most of our actors/actresses, the same people always complaining that foreign content is taking over Ghanaian stations and driving them out of business.
It’s not appropriate for local tv stations to show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and other ‘twi-novellas’ to make money but it’s cool for Ghanaian actors who have lived here all their lives to suddenly develop incoherent foreign accents.
We don’t hear enough people complaining about it.
Actress Juliet Ibrahim, who is in a great mood this afternoon engaging with her fans on twitter, seems to shade such people using by referencing a study showing even goats can develop accents.
Writing on her page, Ibrahim noted: “There have been studies that show that goats have accents.”, which she accentuated with the laughing emoji.
The study she referenced showed that some goats if added to a different social group developed ‘accents’, similar call patterns to their new social group.
