Shatta Wale really got issues. In 2015, Stonebwoy was adjudged the Best African Act at the BET Awards and it seems it really ‘pained’ Shatta to the bone.
In a recent interview with Abeiku Santana, Shatta said he should have won that award and not Stonebwoy, claiming the Ashaiman star knows in his heart that the award belongs to him (Shatta).
The two artists have never seen eye to eye and at the time, Shatta Wale displayed jealousy on social media by claiming he doesn’t care about awards when he always displays every award he wins on social media.
He also blew a fit when Stonebwoy landed a nomination for last year’s award and he missed out.
Three years down the line since the win, Shatta is still holding grudges, claiming Stonebwoy did not deserve that award.

“He (Stonebwoy) knew deeply in his heart the award was mine.” he said.
Shatta said he’s the biggest artist in Ghana and the BET selection team should have recognized that and chosen him instead of the ‘Hero’ hitmaker.
