Three students have died under yet to be ascertained circumstances at the premises of the Kumasi Academy (KUMACA), bringing to six the number of students who have died at the same institution this year.
According to reports, the latest deaths have sparked a fear and panic situation with numerous parents going in to withdraw their wards from the school.
The students all die similarly, suddenly falling sick and dying despite being gotten to the hospital for medical care.
Two other deaths had been reported earlier this year and another one in recent days, but the three latest ones have heightened fears.
According to reports, 25 other students are on admission at the KNUST hospital.
Authorities are yet to discover what is causing the sudden deaths, but many parents are not interested in keeping their wards at the school any longer to find out.
Samples from those infected have been sent to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for further study.
