Children Who Grow Up In Abusive Homes Tend To Become Abusive In Their Own Relationships — Toke Makinwa

Socialite and media goddess, Toke Makinwa has added her 2 cents to the emotional abuse campaign and is advocating for it to be reduced to the barest minimum.
In a series of  Tweets, the author talks about how kids and especially innocent ones are subjected to such abuses in homes and are helpless about the whole situation.
According to her, such situations leave a lasting mark on such kids, who even sometimes grow up to be abusive in their own relationships.
She wrote on twitter:
“When they (parents) fight you dare not come to your room or ask for anything, sometimes you blame yourself for why your parents hate each other.
“That child now grows up and if help is not given goes on to be abusive in his own relationship too. It’s a Cycle we must break.” she added.
