President of Bullhaus Entertainment and former manager of controversial Shatta Wale, Bulldog says the Musician’s Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) is a toothless dog which just exists for decoration.
According to the artist manager, born Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, the body is powerless and has no mandate to enforce decisions.
According to him, MUSIGA is basically a body for welfare and not a regulatory body.
“As at now, MUSIGA is powerless and has no mandate. It is only a welfare union.” Bulldog said.”It has no legal backing and cannot cause any arrest.”
MUSIGA under the chairmanship of Obour has come under unending criticism in recent times, especially after it came to light the body had used Ghc 2m for some unhelpful purposes. Bulldog and Shatta don’t agree on much these days but on this topic, they seem to be on the same page.
