George Quaye known as “Aboagye” for his character in defunct “Taxi Driver” Tv series says he is one of Ghana’s best actors but he stopped acting because acting in Ghana never pays well.
George’s comment comes at the back of Shirley Frimpong Manso letting the cat out of the back that, some actors are living fake flashy lifestyle in the eyes of the public.

Speaking on Celebrity Fanzone, GQ affirmed Shirley’s assertion and revealed that he was even once paid Gh3 for an acting gig.

However, George continued that he’s been lucky to feature in an international film during his acting days which paid him £10,000 and that was the highest he earned from acting.
George Quaye is now paid to be talking for Charter House and he seems to be enjoying it than acting because he comes face to face with bribery scandals and with other feuds that keeps him working (talking) than most of these actors.
