A Ghanaian spiritualist has prophesied a 2-0 win for the Black Stars in today’s World Cup qualifier in Kumasi against Congo Brazaville.
Sweden based Prophet Frimpong Williams has garnered some fresh legitimacy after he prophesied Egypt’s crucial 1-0 loss to Uganda on Thursday.
Ghanasoccernet reports Frimpong Williams said before yesterday’s game that the Cranes would knock down the Pharaohs, which happened exactly that way.
“What I saw was that after the two games Ghana had won with Egypt losing their game to Uganda,” Frimpong Williams said before the match, according to the football website.
“Ghana will beat Congo 2-0 and Egypt will lose 1-0 to Uganda” he said.
With the first ‘prophesy’ happening exactly as he said, all heads now turn to the Black Stars game this afternoon to determine whether the 2-0 scoreline would indeed come to pass.
Regardless of the prophesy, Ghana desperately needs a win to stay in touch in the group, with Uganda on 7pts and Egypt from 6pts after three games played. Anything less than a win in Kumasi this afternoon and the Black Stars can say goodbye to qualification to Russia.
If Frimpong Williams is to be believed, we have nothing to fear on that score.
“What I saw was the whole of Ghana were rejoicing and God has spoken and Ghana will qualify.” he added.
Watch this space – the game is only a few hours away.
