Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has been honoured with a honorary doctorate by the Alfred Nobel University in the Ukraine.
The 31 year old has been honoured for his outstanding leadership, typified by his exemplary career which has seen him become the highest goalscorer in the history of the Black Stars, surpassing the legendary Abedi Pele.
Gyan was presented with the award at a ceremony held today (Saturday).
Other leaders who received Alfred Nobel University doctorates include Chief executive officer of Taabea Group of Companies, Christian Akwasi Agyemang, Reverend Dr. Gifty Lamptey, Nana Kwaku Agyiri Aggrey and others.
