The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, turned into a stand-up comedian recently when an umbrella fell on him during a speech.
The umbrella being held over the President’s head shut abruptly, forcing the one holding it to quickly readjust it and hold it back up.
“This is what happens when you have the umbrella,” the President wryly said after the mishap.
“It is never steady”, he added with a smile, as portions of the audience broke into laughter.

The Umbrella is the symbol of the opposition NDC, as the President not so subtly poked at in his little routine.
