Ibrahim Mahama’s Passport ‘Seized’ By Economic Organised Crime Office (EOCO)

Ibrahim Mahama, Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners and brother of former President John Dramani Mahama was held for several hours today by Economic Organised Crime Office’s personnels–for integration.

Ningo Prampram MP Sam George Nartey has stated in an interview with Class Fm that the businessman has been ordered by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to deposit his passport with the state investigative body tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19.

Ibrahim Mahama received the invitation on Thursday April 13 and reported Tuesday morning but was still being interrogated late Tuesday afternoon.

Mr Mahama is reported to have been invited to answer questions over some dud cheques he issued to the customs division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) at the Tema Port to clear some heavy duty equipment he imported.
