Bayern-Madrid, Barca-Juve Mega Clashes Light Up UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Draw

The quarter final draw of the UEFA Champions League was held earlier today (Friday) at the House of Football in Nyon, Switzerland, and it’s thrown up some interesting clashes.

Comeback kings Barcelona, who recovered from a 4 goal deficit to defeat Paris Saint-Germain, have been paired against Italian champions Juventus.

Defending Champions Real Madrid also have a tough tie to navigate, as they face Bayern Munich, coached by their former manager Carlo Ancelotti, who led them to their famed ‘La Decima’.

The fairy tale story of English champions Leicester City continues when they meet Atletico Madrid, with Monaco vs Borussia Dortmund wrapping up the round.

The quarter finals of the 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League would be played on the 11/12 April, with the return legs taking place on the 18/19.

The draw for the Europa League was also held, with the standout tie being the Mancehster United vs Anderletch tie.
