Joshua, one half of the hiplife singing group Keche, says Yaa Pono is scarcely on the level of Shatta Wale.

“For now, there are no two ways about it, Shatta (Wale) is the biggest artiste.” he told Hitz Fm’s KMJ.
“We as a group are behind Shatta and Sarkodie. Yaa Pono hasn’t gotten to the level of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie or Stonebwoy,” he added.
The current ‘beef’ stemmed from an incident during a Cape Coast concert where Yaa Pono was blocked from performing. Matters escalated from there till we ended up with ‘Gbee Naabu’, which became the nail in Shatta Wale’s coffin.
But whether you believe Yaa Pono won the feud or not, there’s no doubt commercially, he’s way out of Shatta’s league.
