The management of artiste Nii Funny have apologised on the star’s behalf after he described some of the best, up and coming talent in the country as ‘borla goods’.
In a statement issued after his utterances, Lyrics & More, which manages the ‘Yooko Ebreaki Mi’ hitmaker, say he was carried away in his statement and thus retracts them and unreservedly apologises.
The statement notes Nii Funny has respect for his fellow contenders and not the contempt which could be read from his comments.

A nominee for VGMA 2017 discovery of the year, Nii Funny described most of his fellow competitors in the category as ‘borla goods’.
“This year’s nominations, that is the Discovery of the Year category–so many of the artistes don’t deserve to be nominated” he said on Hot Fm in Accra.
“Apart from Article Wan, all the rest are “Borla Goods”..I mean, Medikal, Fancy Gadam, Ebony etc don’t deserve to be nominated”,
