Justice William Atuguba is the acting Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana.
The veteran judge is serving due to former Justice Georgina Wood proceeding on leave prior to her retirement, which occurs officially next month.

The President would make a new appointment to the office then.
Atuguba has served as acting CJ in the past, taking over the post for a while in 2016, in the absence of Georgina Wood, who travelled outside the country on official duty.
