Sarkodie Is The Most Influential Ghanaian Artiste On Social Media And Shatta Wale Is Not Even In The Top 3

Sarkodie is the most influential Ghanaian artiste on social media for 2016, the Ghana Social Media Report has revealed.

Sarkodie has gained the most followers and subscribers of any Ghanaian artiste over the past year and overall , has the most influence on social media.

The ‘Illuminati’ hitmaker has gained over 2.3m followers across his social media platforms in the year under review, comfortably ahead of every other entertainer.

Stonebwoy, who had the second most growth of 1.4m across the platforms surveyed (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube) placed second, ahead of Herty Borngreat in 3rd.

Brash, self acclaimed ‘dancehall king’ Shatta Wale finished in 4th.

The study, compiled in the Ghana Social Media Report, tracks the social media activities of celebrities and the ranking is developed based on artiste’s number of Social Media followers, Growth Difference, Engagements, Post Reaches and Mentions.
