Eight years ago, on January 20, 2009 – the first African American first family entered the White House – comprising newly elected President Barack, wife Michelle and two lovely daughters, Malia and Sasha.
Malia was ten and Sasha seven when they first entered the White House, children at the time. But eight years later as they prepare to exit for the Trump’s to take over, they have both blossomed into fine teenage girls with undoubtedly bright futures ahead of them.
The girls have always been in the public eye throughout the years but have remained scandal free – except for a couple of times Malia was just being a teenager and some people decided to freak out.
Anyway, this gallery looks at the evolution of the girls through the years, from children to their teens and it’s interesting looking at how different they look year after year.
