Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom and his PPP have won an appeal case brought by Ghana’s Electoral Commission against them in the Supreme Court—over a ruling by the High Court that asked the EC to give Nduom the opportunity to amend or alter mistakes on nomination forms which led to him being disqualified.
The Supreme Court ordered the Electoral Commission to extend the nomination period to the close of Tuesday, November, 8 2016 for all disqualified presidential aspirants. The court also ordered a suspension of all lawsuits challenging the EC’s disqualifications of flagbearers, for all those affected to amend the errors on their forms.
