Elom Adablah already made history after a stellar year, culminating in sweeping the night at this year’s VGMA night, beating huge favourite Bisa Kdei to the flagship award.
He has followed up the year with dropping more hits, ahead of the release of his highly touted BAR III.
Speaking to the Graphic Showbiz, the rapper known as EL has promised to win the VGMA’s top award at next year’s ceremony as well, aiming to become the first man in history to ever retain that crown.
“I want to set a record as the artiste to win the VGMA Artiste of the Year back to back and that will happen next year.” he told the publication.
“Thanks to my management team who work so hard to get me all the right contacts to keep me up there,” he added.
EL is talking about something all the biggest heavyweight in Ghana have failed to do – Obrafour, Sarkodie, Lord Kenya, Daddy Lumba. Good luck with that bruh.
