Asanteman Council Wants KMA Boss Kojo Bonsu Removed

The Asanteman Council has asked President John Mahama to relieve the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly chief executive officer, Kojo Bonsu, of his post.
The demand comes after the council accused the KMA boss of gross disrespect.
The council is said to have been angered by Kojo Bonsu’s decision to remove Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s representative from the committee on the ongoing Kejetia market project. It is not immediately clear why the KMA boss axed Nana Agyenim Boateng Amoamanhene from the committee.
Kojo Bonsu is said to have worsened matters by defying a request for him to appear before the council to discuss the issue.
The council, according to a report by starrfmonline, told Ashanti Regional Minister John Ackon on Monday to inform President Mahama to get rid of the KMA CEO because they could no longer work with him.
