The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, has expressed his condolences with the President, John Dramani Mahama, on the loss of his mum.
Abiba Nnaba passed away late Tuesday, June 14, in Accra.
After the news hit the public, Nana Addo extended his condolences to the President and his family.
“I extend my condolences to @JDMahama and his family on the passing of his mother, Madam Abiba Nnaba. May she rest in perfect peace.” The opposition leader wrote on twitter.
The President’s mum is set to be buried in Damongo later today, in line with her Islamic faith.
The President has already shared his shock and grief at the tragic news.
