Okomfo Yaw Appiah Claims Obinim Bribed Police To Stop Him From Making An Appearance At Their Scheduled Battle

Okomfo Yaw Appiah, the spiritualist who claims to be Obinim’s spiritual mentor, and who failed to turn up for a spiritual battle Tuesday, claims the no-show was not his fault.
According to him, police officers have been at his house since morning, and that was the reason he failed to make an appearance at the Jubilee Park for the battle.
And he has a theory as to why- Bishop Obinim bribed them to stop him.
Appiah failed to make a scheduled battle with Obinim at Kumasi’s Jubilee Park Tuesday morning. Obinim appeared for the contest with some junior pastors and church members, as well as a coffin in tow- with a huge crowd eagerly awaiting the contest.
He told Citifmonline:

Obinim is a liar and a thief. He paid money to the police to come to my home and prevent me from leaving. Police have been at my house since this morning… You said I should come and face you and I am ready but police comes to my house and said they won’t let me leave. What does that mean?

Interestingly, Obinim had failed to make earlier dates for a battle between the two, yet he’s somehow claiming victory for this one when the Okomfo made a no-show.
Personally, I think the two should be allowed to do whatever they want, the whole thing would be televised. If they can prove mystical powers live on tv, well, good for them.
It’s incredible that this is where we are as a nation.
