The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has lamented over the death of the former Vice President of Ghana, Mr Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur.
The President, in a Twitter post as sighted by GhanaCelebrities.Com, stated that the late Vice President’s demise has not only affected his family and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) but also to all Ghanaians.
According to the President, Ghana has lost a very great man, a man who was willing to serve his nation, and for such a man to be taken suddenly by death, Ghana is indeed poorer for his demise.

“Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur’s death is not only a loss for his party, the NDC, or his family, or for the community from which he came. It is a loss for the entire country. Ghana is poorer for his departure.
“He was a vibrant personality in our national life, who still had so much in him to give to our country. He was a fine public servant, a man of dignity and humility, who conducted himself very well in the public space of Ghana. #RIPKBAA”, he posted.
