Up and coming singer Wisa Greid is probably kicking himself right now after his terrible antics at this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba.
Performing on stage, the ‘Ekiki Me’ hitmaker, perhaps immersed too much into the euphoria, whipped out his dingdong on stage, in the full glare of a horrified crowd.
The trauma inducting experience quickly drew condemnation from practically everyone, and several people, including GhanaCelebrities.Com editor Chris-Vincent Febiri, called for the arrest of Wisa for breaking the law.
On Saturday December 26th, the police invited the young singer over for his actions on stage that fateful night. The Greater Accra Police Command have obtained copies of the video, and are likely to charge Wisa with indecent exposure.
Wisa apologised for his antics, releasing a statement bemoaning his actions.
“I cannot explain this rash and irresponsible behaviour, but I have been trained to acknowledge my fault and be responsible for my actions.” he wrote.
“I have disappointed myself, my family, my hard-working management team, Citi FM and the audience, who paid hard-earned money to be entertained” he continued.
Citi Fm, organisers of the event, released their own statement condemning the artiste’s actions and calling on the police to take whatever action they deemed fit.
