Chaos In Mali As Terrorists Attack Luxury Hotel In Bamako

External shot- Radison Blu hotel

The chain of crazy terror attacks perpetuated in the name of religion continues, as gunmen early on Friday entered the Radison Blu Hotel in the Malian capital of Bamako and commenced on a killing spree.

At least three people were killed when the gunmen entered the hotel, reportedly shouting Allahu Akbar as they shot and breached the security barrier. The luxury hotel is said to be a favourite spot of foreigners who come to Mali.

After their entry, the terrorists took hostages numbering over one hundred. A security source told Reuters that hostages able to recite verses of the Koran were being freed.

The hostages contain several people of foreign nationalities, including French, Turkish, US and Chinese nationals.

“Very early in the morning, there was gunfire. Apparently it’s an attempt to take hostages. The police are there and are sealing off the area,” a security source was quoted as saying.

Local media claim Aliko Dangote was staying at Radison Blu, as he is currently on a business visit to Mali.

A Malian army commander has told the AP news agency that about 20 hostages have been freed, after Malian Special Forces stormed the hotel.

Mali’s President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, has made an emergency return home from Chad, where he was attending a regional summit.

Ignore the evidence, we all know religion had nothing to with it.
