If I bought or build this house, I would have named it ‘Asomdwe fie’ or give it a nice local name but Asamoah Gyan doesn’t seem to want that—so we are told, he has named his reported 3 million dollars mansion–La Basilica De Baby Jet.
Yesterday, there was an official mansion warming party—to make the place officially inhabitable and we hear, the party was GREAT.
Whatever it is, it’s true money talks…
GhanaCelebrities.Com was reliably told a few weeks ago that, the house was built by blockfields Ghana LTD.
Apart from the obvious swimming pool, we are told the house has a cinema which takes up to 50 people and has about 10 bedrooms with flat screen TVs in every walkway, room and the kitchen.
Our source at the time said; “it’s a beautiful house with two security by-pass”—meaning, you have to go through two security gates to get into the compound.
And that the house was initially for a certain Michael who placed it on the market for sale. For the price, even though we initially said an eye estimation by us places the value below $400,000 as opposed to the $3 million being reported, the source says, it was for sale for $4.5 million but he cannot confirm if indeed Asamoah Gyan paid that much.
