Andre Dede Ayew is on the verge of signing with Premier League side Swansea City as he embarks on a new chapter in his career.
The Black Stars vice captain recently announced that he’s leaving current club Marseille with the expiration of his contract this summer, and the English side seems to have moved fastest to secure his signature.
Dede and his agent have been holding talks with some premier league clubs, but the most recent info indicates he is joining the Swans.
Swansea has beat off competition from the likes of West Ham United and Borussia Dortmund, and a host of other clubs who have been on the 25 year old Ghanaian’s tail since he announced his departure from Marseille.
There are still some details being ironed out, but all things being equal Dede should line up for the Welsh side in next season’s English Premier League.
Ayew is currently nursing an injury that has ruled him out of this weekend’s AFCON qualifier against Mauritius in Accra.
