Nigeria’s president elect-Muhammadu Buhari flew into Nigeria via British Airways from London to Abuja last night, ahead of his official inauguration–and the conversation on social media is about the fact that Buhari who just had a meeting with David Cameron was spotted on board the Economy class of British Airways.
Tomorrow, the man will become the president of Nigeria and so when a twitter user spotted him on the flight, he quickly pulled his smart phone for the above shot.
It’s pretty interesting that the lowest Nigerian/Ghanaian celebrity will not even want to fly economy, yet the president-elect of the country with the biggest economy in Africa flew premium economy to his own inauguration.
Perhaps, it’s just a stunt to win more souls and to show Nigerians that he is down to earth. All the same, this shows that no matter your status, you won’t die if you fly cheap…
