When I talk about the stupidity that takes its deep root in religion, a lot of people defend this by saying; not all religious people are stupid and I perfectly agree with this—however, I do not see the few wise ones condemning the absurd actions of the stupid religious zealots and leaders like Bishop Obinim.
Borrowing Christopher Hitchen’s words, religion is “Violent, irrational, intolerant, allied to racism and tribalism and bigotry, invested in ignorance and hostile to free inquiry, contemptuous of women and coercive toward children: organized religion ought to have a great deal on its conscience.”
And anyone who opposes this should tell me the definition of what Bishop Obinim is doing in the video below…
Gradually, religion is losing its sense of purpose, especially in Africa—and its charlatan leaders are making it worst, unappealing to any right thinking person.
Where is the Christian council of Ghana? Where are those who claim religion is the way forward? What do you have to say about what this so called man of God is doing in the video?
Let’s count the number of Christians who will condemn such barbarism, all in the name of God and miracles…And some people have the audacity to ask why I am not religious or part of an ancient cult which demands that you suspend your thinking faculty, reject reason and evidence?

This charlatan would have been charged with assault if he was in any civilized country. But hey it’s Ghana any idiot can pass himself off as a pastor. As it was said, the problem with Christianity is the Christians. Particularly the African Christians. They have created their own version of the white man’s religion, imbued it with all the voodoo and what was once called satanic practises and that is what they call Christianity. The gentleman from Nazareth will not recognise what is been done in his name. In fact he will be cursed out by the forked tongue predators(bishops/apostles/reverends) and their followers. The man who preached turning the other cheek, is now being used to curse people. Some even believe they have their own personalized version of him at their beck and call. So they can evoke him to curse their enemies. The smart ones, who got the true Christian education(seminarians), have ceded the stage to these tricksters and thieves who prey on the ignorance and the desperation of women/men. There ought to be a special place in hell for them. One wonders what sort breeding the followers of these snake oil salesmen have? Africa is crawling deeper and deeper into the abyss and it is because of this fake African religion which devoid of critical thinking, inquiry and self reflection. Like lemmings they are following each other off the cliff without asking whether its right thing to do or the wrong thing. These creeps have given us the proof that if you want to destroy a society, get to the women first. Once you have them corrupted, you have control of the society. If these women can get their heads out of this mess, most of these churches will collapse. The men will stop following them to church and that will be the end of it.
