It is official; Ghanaian actress/TV personality-Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku is married—a traditional engagement ceremony was held earlier today in Accra to officially seal the union of Naa and boyfriend of many years-Ahuma Cabutey Adodoadji, now her husband.
The colorful but simple ceremony brought together few close friends, colleagues and family members of the couple.
Yesterday, Naa Ashorkor revealed that even though her now husband is not as tall as she wanted, she loves him for his intellect.
We wish them happy marriage life…

No dear, that is not a traditional attire at all. She is wearing a western styled, European cut dress, although some traditional Ghanaian fabrics are weaved in. It is the styling and cut that determines whether an attire is western or traditional. Take the groom for instance, he is wearing what we call “Babariga” or “Buba & Shokoto” in Naija and even if the entire material is western material, it will still be a traditional dress because of the styling
Marriage be marriage my dear. A guy can call a pastor to the house to bless a union without any forms of spending.
