Musical group splits in Ghana is nothing new. Groups always get together, make good music, get popular and before we know it, one or two members take a walk. Now as to whether these splits usually end well for all parties is a topic that will take a while to debate.

Examples can be taken from Praye, Wutah among others. Although the group members usually continue making music, sadly it doesn’t stay the same.

More recently, we have learned that musical group VIP has split after many years of being together, The group has actually lasted longer than several others so we are a little taken aback to learn that Promzy has taken a walk from the group.

The main reasons why he has left the group are unknown but he is set to launch a solo career as soon as possible.
